We’re all about the pastels in this month’s 6-Pack Card Class. Perfect for Spring - mostly showers right now, but hopefully the flowers will soon follow! In that spirit, we have gorgeous florals in periwinkle, soft pinks, mints and corals. We’re using the BoBunny Harmony collection which includes the “cut-apart” sheet with beautiful features for many of the cards. These cards are clean and simple and as I often do, I designed more cards than for our 6 card class, but I couldn’t decide which one we wouldn’t use for class, so we’re actually making 7 cards this month! (I need to work on being more decisive!) There will also be a lot of 6” paper left over as well as a couple of the “cut-apart” elements, so you can continue creating at home!
There’s no coloring this month, but we will be sponging on Distress inks in Picked Raspberry and Gathered Twigs so if you have those colors, bring them to class along with a couple sponge or finger daubers. Otherwise, you will need your usual kit: foam tape, dry adhesive such as a tape runner, a wet glue with a fine point, pop dots, glue dots, bone folder, scissors, Quik Stick or jewel picker, tweezer etc along with your paper trimmer. Remember that I am always happy to help you with any cutting!
If you’re already a member of the 6-Pack Club, we will expect you at your usual time. If you need to switch to another time, please let us know as soon as possible. If you’re not a member but would like to sign up for one of the class sessions, you can sign up in person or over the phone like you would for any other class. Prepayment is required for non-members of the 6-Pack Club. Those who are members can pay the night of the class.

"Flower a Month" with Tracey
When: Saturday, May 18: 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.;
Wednesday, May 29:: 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; OR
Thursday, May 30: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The flower for this month is called "Meadow Flower" which kind of looks like a Morning Glory and a Trumpet flower had a baby. The Almighty Google was no help when I tried to find a reference photo so I guess it's a make-believe flower. This means we can also make up Fun Flower Facts for our Traveler's Notebook page and pick any color of the rainbow. No rules!
The first card is bright and colorful plus it's quick to make since only the stems are colored. The flowers are stamped on printed paper, cut out and tucked behind the stems which gives a lovely dimensional effect. The second card will be created with the ever popular "No-Line Water Coloring" technique using the new Gina K. Amalgam ink called Whisper and Distress Ink markers (any of the Distress products such as the pads, crayons, re-inkersand stains can be used, however you will have more control with the details if you use the markers).
Please bring your basic tool kit as usual as well as the following:
Distress Ink Markers in Dusty Concord, Mermaid Lagoon, Forest Moss and Crushed Olive. #2, #4 and #6 round paintbrush, Art Impressions or Altenew watercolor palette, fine-mist spray bottle, Black Micron Pen, Detail (small) scissors, X-acto (craft) knife, NUVO alcohol markers (Irish Clover) #410, #412 and #416.
(Note: the stamp set is included in your class fee as it is every month but don't forget to mention that you also want to purchase the coordinating die so we can reserve one for you at the 20% discount)
I have offered this class on 3 dates again this month since they fill up quickly. So don't miss out, register now and don't forget to pay in advance to guarantee your spot. Quantities of stamps/dies on hand may be limited. Hope to see you there!

Reveal Wheel Cards for Spring with Gloria
When: Tuesday, May 7, 1:00 to 4:00 pm Or
Saturday, May 11, 11:00 to 2:00 pm
Cost: $ 24.00
In this class we will be making three interactive cards all using the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel die set. The theme of these cards is celebrating spring (even though we might still be coming to class in our winter coats.) The two animal cards could easily become
birthday cards and the umbrella card, a get-well card.
You will need your basic kit of wet and dry adhesives, scissors, glue dots and foam squares or tape. A pair of tweezers would be helpful to handle the small butterflies and flower centers. In addition, bring colored pencils or markers in shades of brown, yellow,
green, blue, lavender, pink and gray. I used Copic and Nuvo alcohol markers: Copic browns - Y32 and YR24, Nuvo yellows - #403 and #405, Nuvo green - #410, Nuvo blue - #425, Nuvo lavender - #436, Nuvo pinks - #449 and #453 and Nuvo gray - #485.
Preregistration and prepayment are due two days in advance of the class date
